Sands Of Time (2009)

I create my art using my skills as a mathematician and computer software that I have written.
Sometimes it's the computer that suggests an interesting idea to explore.
Sands Of Time, however, was me telling the computer what I wanted.
It is a reworking of my 2006 work, Saint Elmo's Fire, but with different colours,
a superimposed hour-glass shape, and 'time lines' passing through the pinch point.
Sands Of Time is one of my best compositions to date.
